AndreaAndrea Kasunic
Head of School and Head of Intensive Behaviour Intervention Program

Andrea is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who has been working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioural disorders since 2002. She has been exclusively providing services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and their families since 2006. She pursued her Masters of Education in Developmental Psychology and Education from the University of Toronto and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the University of North Texas. She is an advocate for using positive, proactive behaviour management strategies and strongly believes in enhancing parental capacity. She has worked in a number of different environments including clinical, research, home, community, and school-based settings.  Andrea is the primary Behaviour Analyst responsible for all PALS Autism School students.

Karin Terado
Head of PALS Adult Program

Karin holds her Bachelor of Education, Ontario Teaching Certificate and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Toronto. She has her Level 1 Certification in teaching English as a Second Language from York University and is a certified Orton-Gillingham Therapeutic Tutor. Karin has extensive experience teaching and working within organizations such as Community Living (Ontario), the Ontario March of Dimes and PALS Autism School. She believes in providing programming excellence for young people as they transition from secondary school into active and meaningful adult life.

KatieKatie Chu Chong
Before and After School Manager

Katie has worked with children with autism since 2012 in home, school, and community settings. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and hopes to pursue a Master’s in special education. In addition to her role as the PALS Before and After School Care Manager, Katie also works as an Educational Instructor in the PALS school program. She believes in creating an engaging, positive, and social environment.
